Praise God..
I have a new job lined up. It's kind of complicated to explain, but I'll be in sales. I can't wait to start on a new adventure Monday. Thank you for all of your prayers and support. I couldn't have gotten through the last 6 months without my wonderful husband, family and friends. You are the best!

Say hello to Elly
Last friday I picked up our niece to dogsit for the week while her parents are frolicking in Ireland. I have really been wanting a dog so this is a great trial for me and David. With that being said, David asked me on Saturday if I still wanted a dog and my answer was a quick reply "NO!" Now this has absolutely nothing to do with Elly. She is actually a wonderful dog, house trained, crate trained, no barking and loves to snuggle once she warms up to you, but oh the responsibility and guilt when you want to leave. We just want Betsy and Matthew to know their babygirl is in good hands. She's really having a hard time adjusting with you being gone, see below....

Asking for prayers...
I'm amazed each day by God's blessings in my life, with that said being on the job search is a true trial of your faith. Each morning I place my thoughts in the hands of my Lord knowing that His plan is way better than anything my worrying could possibly dream up for the day. I am in need of prayers because I had a followup interview today for a job that I was told a couple of weeks ago I didn't get. To me, that means God has something big planned and it just wasn't ready yet. I pray that God will use me for His will and to bring glory to His name in whatever I do and that I will know how to discern His callings. Thank you to my family and friends for all of your support during my trials.

reesie's visit to boo and d's house
So last weekend my mom and Reese came to visit me to celebrate my birthday. We had so much fun taking Reese to the park Friday night and then meeting David and the Dixon family for dinner at the Pizza Joint. Reese loves the park and all she says when you leave is PAHK! After dinner, Jason, Jennifer and Jacob came over to play with Reese. Here are some pics of the wild ones chasing each other around; they played so good together.

Harley Rally and Birthdays
So I know I've been slacking on blogging, but we've been busy with nothing exciting. Except this weekend, we spent time having fun with family. We started our Saturday in Columbia, SC at a Harley Davidson rally. Yes, that's what I said, Harley Davidson. David's band played a great show and they were invited back for the next event.

As soon as David was done we got in the car and headed straight to Fayetteville for Anna Hood's (David's Aunt) 50th birthday party. We had a delicious low country boil and lots of fun with old people jokes. Here's a pic of the birthday girl:

We ended the weekend spending Sunday at Jenn and Dallas' house with the family. We grilled out hamburgers and had lots of Reesie time!
