Jumping Machine

Okay, this boy loves to jump. Lauren and I decided it was time to make a trip to Monkey Joe's with Lilly and Penn. They had a ball. Penn got right into it jumping and bouncing all around. They were too cute. I can see lots of trips to monkey joe's in our future. It was really hard to takes pics and jump at the same time so this is all I could get.

What's for lunch...

If the refrigerator or the dishwasher are open Penn is going to be in them!! He loves to pull everything off the shelves in the refrigerator.

March Birthdays with the Coopers

The Cooper crew has lots of March birthdays so we always get together to celebrate all of them at once. Sunday we got together at Anna Hood's for a yummy meal and some family time. Penn enjoyed all of the attention and helping his daddy open gifts.

sign language!!

I had a very proud mommy moment today! I started teaching Penn sign language around 6 months of age, but I'll be honest, I haven't been extremely consistent until lately. Since Penn has been eating table food he is very vocal at his meals. I've had a hard time deciding if he's hungry, full, more, done, etc., so I've been working hard on sign language. Tonight was the first time he signed back to me!!! Of course, he signed "more". so cute, to see his little fingers touch each other. I was so excited, I clapped and made a huge deal, so then he was so proud of himself. He had the biggest smile and clapped everytime he did it. Now I am really going to focus hard on some other words since I know he can do it. Love my little man and watching him soak in all of these new experiences.

Lilly turns 1!!

Saturday we celebrated Lilly's 1st birthday!! I can't believe she is 1! We had so much fun with a candy bar and yummy cupcakes. Penn really liked Lilly's birthday gift...
